I found this top heavy woman on a wallpaper hosting site with no artist tags or watermarks of any kind.

SFW: Red Wyverns by Tim Mcburnie

Australia born Tim Mcburnie's style is very reminiscent of the many wonderful European illustrators for comics and graphic novels.

Check out Tim's blog here. I'll be posting more of his work later on.

NSFW: Wild Tribal Elf

I find it interesting how there are so many brown and black skinned girls with blonde or white hair in Japanese illustrations and character designs. The aesthetic can be pretty striking and isn't only limited to the land of the rising sun with Storm being the most predominant western example to come to mind.

I think that the tribal and naturalistic styles are over looked far too much when it comes to the wild  or forest elves. When you think about it a people who would want to be close with nature and have little negative impact on it wouldn't be running around in 5 layer dresses, a whole bunch of plate mail, or even a fancy dress coat but clothes made out of animal & plant mater or nothing at all and would craft things out of traded, gifted, or scavenged goods.

NSFW: Loving Embrace

This is one of the most passionate and sexy images I've found. lips to lips, chest to chest, manhood to womanhood, with their arms holding each other lovingly all the while her smooth creamy legs wrap around her elf boy tightly.

IF anyone knows the artist please do speak up.

SFW: Mayael the Anima by Jason Chan

And to conclude this week's Jason Chan feature is Mayael the Anima from magic the Gathering.
She's an elf shaman who's a legendary creature.

The trees that look like they have cherry blossoms, the snow capped mountain in the back, dark brown eyes, calligraphy tattoos... I'd say she was asian for sure but those tattoos aren't any real language as far as I know.

The thing I'm most drawn to in this is the way his hands, feet, & ears are all done with some nice attention to detail. Looking at the dragon tattoo and the patterns on the robes I wonder if he's meant to be an asian elf or just dressed up in fantasy clothes inspired by the east.
