In WoW you can "transmogrify" your armor to take on the cosmetic appearance of similar items. So if your best stuff is kind of miss matched you can take a set of lower level equipment and change the looks to be more uniform. It also gives you the option of making lady armor sluttier or more practical, as well as creating character homages as seen here.
