SFW: Blue Fairy Disney Dream portrait by Annie Leibovitz

A couple years ago Disney hired veteran photographer Annie Leibovitz to take high end pictures of various celebrities dressed as Disney characters.

They are a mixed bag with Rachel Weisz as Snow White being perfect, while Jennifer Lopez & Mark Anthony look nothing like Aladdin & Jasmine. 
Today's offering is one of the good ones with Julie Andrews as The Blue Fairy and Abigail Breslin as Fira from the Disney Fairies series. Looking Fira up it turns out she's the brown fairy with curly black hair. Why they just didn't dress her as one of the lighter colored fairies is beyond me.

SFW: Fantasia Concept Art

Concept piece for the Nutcracker Suite segment of the original 1940 Disney film Fantasia.
Instead of going with the more literal direction with an animated Nutcracker cartoon Fantasia uses the music to depict the changing seasons in a ballet of fairies, mushrooms, and flowers which if you think about it is a much stronger route to go in that a christmas themed segment would have made part of the film seasonal instead of it being more free form.
